We will never
- Ask you to pay anything — reporting is free
- Ask for your seed phrase (recovery words), private key, passwords or one-time PINs
- Ask you to install remote-access software
- Contact you first, or contact you on WhatsApp, Telegram or social media
- Say we can return your money, or that we have special access to the police, the Hawks, an exchange or the FSCA
Check a document
Every pack we produce has a document code in its footer. Enter it at /verify to confirm the pack came from this service. The check shows only the reference number and date — never personal information.
Report an impersonator
If a website, account, email or caller uses our name, please send us the details — a screenshot, the address or number, and what they asked for — at info@cryme.co.za. We report impersonators and publish known fake websites here.
If you've already paid someone pretending to be us, call your bank's fraud line and open a case at a police station.
